7. Woman soffer in India

                 According to the National Crime Records Bureau, more than 8,200 women were killed in India because of the dowry her family paid to the groom. Yet another reporter says that an Indian woman dies every hour because of crimes in which the groom or his family do not agree with the amount of dowry paid. Because of loopholes in dowry laws it has become exceedingly easier to commit a crime and get away with it.

                 According to Associated Press, since the economy has grown so has the dowry demands. This press does not give a specific author, yet its main goal is to inform and help people become aware of the tragedies happening in India. The article is very informative and factual; lots of facts are given to prove the terrible reality. Though factual the Press conveys a point, that women in India are not treated fairly and justly.
