20. Rach

Your report on the book Made to Stick is very quick and direct to the point. All the main concepts are introduced and thoroughly explained in a concise manner. It is very simple and easy to follow the writer's thoughts. The main points are very well organized and each sticky idea principle has its own paragraph where it is developed. Your analysis of the book is well thought out, since you discuss elements that are good and bad in the book. You mention that the examples in the book are helpful for the reader to understand how the elements can applied, but also that examples are overused at times, slowing the pace. Your analysis also talks about the organization and purpose of the book. The way that the book was planned out seems to aid those who daily use communication.

The A Whole New Mind book report is, like the other, very quick, but this time the report's simplicity works against it. The main ideas and terms are all introduced in the report, but it seems as if the book is summarized too much. The ideas are there, but sometimes they are not explained sufficiently. It is idea after idea being presented, but It gets difficult to understand what exactly the book talks about. Some other times, the ideas do not connect with each other and they seem like very different and distinctive ideas. Nevertheless, your analysis of the book is very well developed. The author's great use of examples, backup information, and statistics is mentioned. Also, your thoughts on the book's misleading subtitle is well thought out and brings perspective to an issue.
