In this article the autho Nicholas McDonald talks about logical falacies. He begins his introduction saying that logic is not an authoritive statement, but a good tip for writing and speeches. McDonald uses bulletpints in order to convey each falacie he is going to talk about. There is a total of 15 of them in which he gives a brief summary and an example of each. He also uses a bit of humor in order to lighten things up and also keep the audeince hooked.
I genuinely enjoyed reading this article because it was well written and entertaining. It was humurous to see how poeple can use very shalow arguments to support their ideas. This was also very helpful for the reader because McDonald provided a very consice and clear explanation about each. It will be easy for the reader to recall those when they write or speak. He sticks with his theme throughout the whole article and uses bulletpoints to order and organize his ideas. Most readers are fans or bulletpoints because as their names say they are very "to the point". They make and idea stick without many unecessary words. He cites famous people such as CS Lewis which givess him credibility and because of this and other factors his article is sucessful in proving his thesis.
